On Monday, Samsung formally introduced the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, which will start at $149 and be the budget entry into the Galaxy Buds 3 line.
The Galaxy Buds 3 FE do include a rich, powerful sound with deep bass and clear treble, along with enhanced Active Noise Cancellation or ANC. Galaxy Buds 3 FE are able to reduce ambient noise and create a more immersive listening experience. There’s also support for Bluetooth 5.4 here.
There are plenty of other Galaxy Buds 3 features available on the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, including Crystal Clear Call technology, which allows you to use a pre-trained machine learning model to offer enhanced voice pick-up and background noise. Auto Switch is also here, making it easier to switch your Galaxy Buds 3 FE from your smartphone, to tablet, or to your laptop.
This is a new pair of earbuds in 2025, so of course, AI is part of the story. Galaxy Buds 3 FE do include Gemini for conversational AI assistance, as well as Galaxy AI Interpreter features for real-time interpreter and Live Translate for phone calls.
Finally, Find My Buds is also available on the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, making it easier than ever to find your earbuds if you do happen to lose them. And the Galaxy Buds 3 FE are IP54, meaning you can wear these to the gym, or out in the weather, and not worry about them getting damaged.
Available next month
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 FE will be available on September 4, and will cost $149. That puts them just a tad cheaper than the Galaxy Buds 3 and even the current sale price on Galaxy Buds 3 Pro . And they will be available in two colors: black and gray.
Samsung notes in their press release that buyers can trade in any wired or wireless pair of earbuds or headphones and get $30 off their new Galaxy Buds 3 FE.
