HONOR has unveiled the Magic8 series in China in October. This includes the regular Magic8 and Magic8 Pro. The Pro variant will hit the European market in January 2026. We also saw the cheaper Magic8 Lite launch earlier this month. However, that’s not all, as the lineup still has one more model, and that’s the Magic8 Mini. As the name suggests, this could be a compact offering. Now, a new leak from China sheds light on the HONOR Magic8 Mini details, like its colorways, display, and more.

HONOR Magic8 Mini details

The Weibo leak doesn’t explicitly mention HONOR Magic8 Mini, but it is believed to be. The phone apparently has the codename ‘Lindy’. The phone could arrive in feather white, shadow black, light orange, and fairy purple colors (machine translation). This means users will get multiple options to choose from.

The leak notes that the Magic8 Mini will be a compact flagship, which is also thin and lightweight. It may sport a compact 6.3-inch display, much like the Xiaomi 17 and Vivo X300. This should make using the phone single-handedly quite comfortable.

MediaTek Dimensity 9500 at the helm

Furthermore, the new leak reiterates that the HONOR Magic8 Mini will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500. In comparison, the Magic8 and Magic8 Pro get Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The phone is tipped to feature a metal frame, which should make it quite durable, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Lastly, the leak notes that the product “is ready, accelerating,” possibly suggesting that it’s ready to launch.

Previous leaks claim that the HONOR Magic8 Mini will get a 1.5K display resolution, a 5,500mAh battery, and a thickness of under 7mm. It could also feature a 200MP main camera and a 50MP telephoto lens with a 1/1.5” type sensor size. As for its launch, the HONOR Magic8 Mini might see the light of day sometime in 2026.
