The HONOR Win series is scheduled to debut in China on December 26th. What sets the lineup apart is the massive 10,000mAh battery, making it one of a kind and a huge leap forward in the battery department. HONOR is apparently positioning them as gaming-focused devices. However, a new leak suggests the HONOR Win series isn’t just about batteries and performance; you may also get a decent camera experience.
HONOR Win and Win RT camera specs leak on Weibo
According to a Weibo tipster , the HONOR Win will get triple camera sensors, as evident from the recent hands-on images . Meanwhile, the Win RT could stick to just dual-sensors. The HONOR Win and Win RT could feature a 50MP Sony LYT-700 primary rear camera and a 12MP lens, which could be ultrawide. The regular Win will reportedly get an additional sensor, a 50MP telephoto Sony IMX856 lens with 3x optical zoom. Both upcoming HONOR Win and Win RT could offer a 50MP shooter on the front for selfies.
Besides the cameras, the tipster also sheds some light on other hardware details. The HONOR Win and Win RT could feature a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for security. You’ll also get dual speakers and 5,920Hz PWM dimming support, as per the tipster.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and 10,000mAh battery
Thanks to the large 10,000mAh battery, the HONOR Win series has us all excited and curious. This represents a significant leap forward, as phones with 7,000mAh and 8,000mAh batteries have only recently entered the market. Despite packing in such a large battery, the HONOR Win phones are reportedly not very heavy or bulky to hold. They apparently feel just like any other smartphone in the segment.
Besides the battery, the HONOR Win could arrive with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the Win RT is set to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Other specs include 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, 100W fast charging, and an OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. We’ll know more about the phones when they debut.
