The OnePlus 12 has just started receiving a new update . This update is marked as OxygenOS 16.0.1.300, and its rollout has started in India first. It will soon spread to other markets, though, so you won’t have to wait for long.

This OnePlus 12 update brings November 2025 patch & a speed boost for launching apps

This update does bring the November 2025 Android security patch to the table, along with some improvements and some new features as well. There are actually quite a few inclusions in the changelog this time around.

OnePlus has improved the speed of launching apps from the home screen with this update. When editing certain Flux themes, you’ll be able to resize the clock. Adding a sunrise and sunset widget to the Home screen for easy access is now possible as well.

You can also add a combined weather information and UV widget to the Home screen for easy access to weather information and UV intensity. There’s also the option of using automatic straightening when cropping and rotating portrait and architectural images in Photos.

Virus scanning speed has also been improved, and more

This update also improves the virus scanning speed in Phone Manager. The Daily weather widget now supports the display of rainy weather warning information. The ‘Ring’ fingerprint animation on the Lock screen has also been improved, as OnePlus added a glowing effect for things to look more pleasing.

The company also added a new interface for AI LinkBoost Network Engine on the OnePlus 12 . You can now also receive real-time notifications for network acceleration in scenarios with poor network conditions.

It’s also possible to test your network speed and check network status details now, such as latency and upload/download speeds.

This update is rolling out in stages, and the same will be the case when it moves to other markets, if it hasn’t already. So be patient, you may have to wait a bit before it reaches your device.
