It seems like Nubia is working on two new foldables , including its very first book-style foldable. The information comes from Evan Blass aka evleaks, as he shared designs of both of those upcoming smartphones .
The Nubia Fold will become the company’s first book-style foldable
The Nubia Flip 3 will be the name of the company’s next flip phone, the third one. On the other hand, the Nubia Fold will be the name of the company’s first foldable, it would seem. Let’s focus on the foldable first, as it’s arguably the more exciting of the two, considering it’s a first-gen model.
If you take a look at the image below, you’ll see the Nubia Fold in the flesh. What we don’t get to see here is its sides and its cover display, but its main display is shown, as well as its back side.
The Nubia Fold will have a similar layout to most book-style foldables on the market. Its main display will be nearly a square when unfolded. The phone will have a rather noticeable camera bump on the back, with seemingly three cameras.

What about the Nubia Flip 3? Well, you can see that phone in both black/dark gray and white color variants below. The phone’s cover display is shown, along with its back side (when folded).
What’s interesting here is that two pogo pins are located on the back of the phone, near the hinge. Both its power/lock and volume rocker buttons sit on the right-hand side.
What about the cover display? Well, you can see it’s quite large for what it is. It takes up the vast majority of the front side in a foldable form. There seem to be two cameras inside of it, though, which will serve as the phone’s main camera. The main camera sensor is the larger one, while we’re not sure what the smaller one will do.
Both of these phones are expected to arrive in Q1 2026
We’re not sure when these two phones will arrive, though. The Nubia Flip 2 launched back in January this year. Considering that, it’s possible that both devices will get official in Q1 next year. The specs are still a mystery.
