In that regard, NVIDIA is no exception because at CES 2026 , the company announced a bunch of updates and changes that could definitely have an impact on the gaming and development scene.

DLSS 4.5 brings massive performance boost

The biggest announcement from NVIDIA CES 2026 is DLSS 4.5 , which introduces Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. The company claims the tech can now generate up to five additional frames for every single frame your computer actually renders. There’s also a new 6X Multi Frame Generation mode that can push games to over 240 frames per second with path tracing on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs .

What this means is that your games will look smoother and more realistic than ever before. DLSS 4.5 also includes a second-generation transformer model for Super Resolution, bringing improved image quality to over 400 games and apps.

NVIDIA announced that DLSS 4 support has grown to over 250 games and apps, including major 2025 titles like ARC Raiders, Battlefield 6, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. It also includes upcoming games like 007 First Light, PRAGMATA, Resident Evil Requiem, and Phantom Blade Zero.

G-SYNC Pulsar monitors are now available

NVIDIA also unveiled G-SYNC Pulsar monitors. This represents the next stage of NVIDIA’s display technology. These monitors feature variable frequency backlight strobing for smoother motion and clearer visuals, with over 1,000 Hz effective motion clarity. If you’re looking for G-SYNC Pulsar monitors , you can expect models from Acer, AOC, ASUS, and MSI later this month. They will also come with G-SYNC Ambient Adaptive Technology that automatically adjusts color temperature and brightness based on time of day.

New tools for creators and gamers

For creators and modders, NVIDIA introduced RTX Remix Logic . This update lets modders create dynamic graphics effects that respond to in-game events across more than 165 classic games. The best part is you don’t even need to touch the original code, and there are over 900 configurable settings available.

NVIDIA has also announced improvements for AI content creation on RTX PCs. This includes optimization for 4K AI video generation. These updates are expected to deliver up to 3x faster performance and 60% lower VRAM usage when generating images and videos locally.

Last but not least, the NVIDIA app is getting updated to version 11.0.6 beta with DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution support, available January 13th, bringing new features like complete NVIDIA Surround settings and Debug Mode for troubleshooting.
