The OnePlus 13 is now receiving a new update , the OxygenOS 16.0.1.304. This is a global update which is also reaching India, by the way. There are quite a few changes listed in OnePlus ‘ changelog, so let’s see what’s new.
The OnePlus 13 is getting quite useful tweaks via this update
If the changelog ends up looking similar to you, it’s because the OnePlus 15 received this update very recently . This update improves the speed of launching apps from the Home screen. It also allows you to resize the clock, as part of Flux themes.
You can now also customize widget names, and use automatic straightening when cropping and rotating portrait and architectural images in Photos. Virus scanning speed has improved as well, as part of Phone Manager.
This update also improves the ‘Ring’ fingerprint animation on the Lock screen. It now incorporates a glowing effect. A new interface has been added for AI LinkBoost Network Engine. It now allows you to view the number of network optimizations, the reduction in lag time, and more.
You can now also receive real-time notifications for network acceleration in scenarios with poor network conditions. You can now also test your network speed and check network status details, such as latency and upload/download speeds.
A useful AOD change is included, as is a new security patch
The full-screen Always-On Display now stay lit all day without the need to lift your phone or tap the screen. You can find this feature in the Always-On Display settings.
The last change has to do with security. This update does bring the November 2025 Android security update to the table. Google did patch some rather high-risk issues with that update, so that’s always good to see.
This update is rolling out as we speak, but it’s rolling out in stages. In other words, some of you will have to wait a bit before you get it. It’s not rolling out to everyone at the same time.
