The OnePlus 13 has started receiving a new update the OxygenOS 15.0.0.862, with the September 2025 Android security patch, in the US. This update is almost identical to the OxygenOS 15.0.0.860, which started rolling out in India earlier this month and was then expanded to Europe . There’s one difference in their changelogs.
The OnePlus 13 users in the US are now getting the September 2025 update
OnePlus made sure to make it clear this update is coming to the US . It’s essentially a US version of the update that started rolling out in India. There’s one difference in the changelog, related to the BeaconLink.
The update for India noted that you can send text, image, and voice messages to nearby people via BeaconLink when there is no internet connection. That change is not mentioned in the US update. Everything else is the same, though.
Animations have been improved
This update improves the animations when tapping Live Alerts or notifications while the screen is locked. It also adds a map album that allows you to view all images with locations on a map.
Furthermore, after you set photos in the Private album as public, they will reappear in their original locations. You can now also change your privacy password on each secondary page of Private Safe. The same goes for the Locked album of Photos.
On top of that, you can now view your daily and weekly screen time in App management under Phone Manager. This update also improves the layout of the remote control panel buttons in IR Remote.
Other than that, there’s only the security patch integration, which I’ve mentioned at the very beginning. The update is now rolling out in stages, so be patient. It should arrive to your phone soon, if you live in the US, if it hasn’t already.
