Phones made by Chinese OEMs are very attractive, namely due to price. Companies like HONOR, OPPO, OnePlus , and Vivo somehow manage to cram a ton of tech into their phones without going crazy with prices. This makes them excellent value for money devices. However, the problem is sometimes it’s hard to say when and which models could arrive stateside. If the recently announced OnePlus 15 caught your attention and you’re looking forward to its US availability, you might not have to wait much longer as the handset has been spotted at the FCC.

OnePlus 15 spotted at the FCC, US launch soon?

We already knew that the OnePlus 15 would be arriving in the US. However, its launch was previously delayed due to the US government shutdown . But now, a recent sighting at the FCC suggests that the OnePlus 15 could be released stateside soon. According to a post on Reddit , some are speculating that its release could be as soon as this Monday.

That being said, it should be noted that the handset spotted at the FCC does not mention the phone model explicitly. It does say that it is a OnePlus device, so unless the company has a new and unannounced phone it plans to launch in 2025, it’s safe to assume that it could be the OnePlus 15.

There is no confirmation on its US availability yet, but passing the FCC is usually a good indicator that it is close to launch. Either way, we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for when it does become available.

What can you expect?

As a quick recap, in case you missed the previous announcement, here’s what you can expect from the OnePlus 15.

For starters, the phone will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. OnePlus isn’t the first to market with the chipset, but it is amongst the first few. If anything, OnePlus is beating out industry giants and veterans like Samsung.

The phone will come with a base of 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. However, there are configurations that go up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage if you must. The phone features a triple 50MP camera setup on the back. This includes a wide, periscope telephoto, and ultrawide camera. There’s also a 32MP camera on the front to round things off.

Also, if you’re looking for a phone with a long-lasting battery, the OnePlus 15 is worth your consideration. It packs a 7,300mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging. The phone is expected to be priced starting at $899 when it is released in the US. Based on these specs, especially the battery, it’s a pretty good deal.
