A well-known tipster has just revealed the names of the OnePlus 15 colorways , not to mention their weight. The information comes from Digital Chat Station, a Chinese tipster who is usually spot on. So we don’t have a reason not to believe this.

The OnePlus 15 is coming in Absolute Black, Dune, and Mist Purple colorways

The OnePlus 15 is allegedly coming in Absolute Black, Dune, and Mist Purple . The Absolute Black color will reportedly be blacker than any other black colorways we’ve seen thus far. The Dune color is essentially a gray one, while the Mist Purple will be a darker purple shade.

With that being said, the weight of these three colors will not be identical. The Absolute Black and Mist Purple colorways will weigh 215 grams, while the Dune model will weigh 211 grams. The Dune color is said to be the hero color, by the way.

Considering that the Dune colorway will be lighter, is it possible that it will have vegan leather on the back? If we had to guess, we’d say yes. That’s the first thing that comes to mind, and it’s also something that OnePlus did with the OnePlus 13 . The blue model had a different backplate, eco leather.

The device will launch next month… in China

Either way, the OnePlus 15 is expected to launch in China next month. The global launch will likely follow in January next year. Do note that the global color options could differ, or at least have different names, we’ll have to wait and see.

The OnePlus 15 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, if that ends up being its name. This is essentially the rumored Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. It remains to be seen what name will Qualcomm opt for.

The phone will also include a 6.78-inch display with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The global model will likely offer up to 16GB of RAM, while a 7,000mAh battery is also rumored for this smartphone.

OnePlus will once again place three cameras on the back. Those will be main (wide), ultrawide, and periscope telephoto snappers. Android 16 will come pre-installed on the phone, along with OxygenOS 16 (global model).
