Detailed OnePlus 15 specifications have surfaced online . The information comes from Weibo, though not from one of our usual sources. So, take it with a grain of salt , even though most of this information is accurate, some has even been confirmed at this point.

The leaked OnePlus 15 specs paint a rather confusing picture

The OnePlus 15 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. That much has been confirmed. It was also confirmed that the phone will feature a 1.5K 165Hz display made by BOE.

With that being said, the tipster claims this display will be a 6.78-inch panel. It is also said it will support Dolby Vision and have a 1-165Hz dynamic refresh rate. A 2,160Hz PWM dimming is also mentioned, as was a 1,800-nit global ‘maximum brightness’. That part is probably not accurate, as the peak brightness will be much higher.

The tipster also notes that 12GB and 16GB RAM models of the phone will be on offer, and will offer up to 1TB of storage. This information regards the Chinese model of the phone, of course. That will be LPDDR5X and UFS 4.1 storage, it is said.

Outstanding battery capacity and charging; underwhelming camera hardware

A 7,300mAh battery is also mentioned by the tipster, as is 120W wired charging. The phone will almost certainly support 50W wireless charging, too. Stereo speakers have been mentioned too, along with an IP69 rating, and USB 3.2 support. Do note that a separate rumor mentioned a 7,800mAh battery , so it remains to be seen which rumor is accurate.

What about the OnePlus 15 cameras? Well, based on this information, the phone will include three 50-megapixel cameras. The main will be Sony’s LYT-700 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture lens and OIS support. That does sound a bit disappointing, as it’s a 1/1.56-inch camera sensor. It’s not exactly something you’d expect in a flagship. We do hope this info is not accurate.

The other two cameras are said to use Samsung’s ISOCELL JN5 sensor. We’re talking about ultrawide and periscope telephoto (3.5x) cameras here. The ultrawide is said to include an f/2.0 aperture lens, while the periscope telephoto unit will use an f/2.8 aperture lens.

An improved cooling system is also mentioned, as is an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Black, Purple, and Titanium colors have been noted as well.
