The OnePlus 15’s price for China has just surfaced, backing up previous rumors that the phone will be more affordable than its predecessor . The information comes from OnePlusClub, do note that this is still just a rumor.

The OnePlus 15 will allegedly be more affordable than its predecessor, as its price pops up

Having said that, the OnePlus 15 is tipped to cost CNY3,999 ($560) for the 12GB RAM model with 256GB of storage. That would make it around $70 more affordable than the OnePlus 13. The OnePlus 13 in that same configuration was priced at CNY4,499 ($630) at launch.

Now, once again, this is a rumored price tag for China. That does not mean that the discount will translate to global markets. In the US, the OnePlus 13 was actually quite affordable to begin with, but it was notably more expensive across Europe.

This price drop is possible by several downgrades. OnePlus is allegedly planning to downgrade main and telephoto cameras, and also the haptic motor. The Hasselblad partnership has also ended, as OnePlus plans to use its own in-house imaging engine.

It will become official next month, allegedly

The OnePlus 15 is expected to become official next month, in China. It is expected to get a global launch too, but it will happen later on. We’re still not sure when exactly, but the OnePlus 13 did launch in January.

OnePlus could end up pushing up the launch date a bit, at least that’s what’s rumored. So it could happen in either November or December. It remains to be seen what route will the company take.

What we do know is that the phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, Qualcomm’s new flagship chip. That much was confirmed by Qualcomm and OnePlus during the Snapdragon Summit 2025.

The phone’s design was also confirmed , as the company is ditching the circular camera setup on the back. It is going for a more rounded approach.
