We now know when the OnePlus 15R’s twin will launch . The OnePlus Ace 6T is its name, and its launch event is scheduled to take place on December 3. The OnePlus Ace 6T is basically the OnePlus 15R for China.

The OnePlus 15R’s twin brother will launch first, on December 3

OnePlus still hasn’t confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 6T will be a rebranded OnePlus 15R. However, the company is doing the same thing every year, so we kind of know what to expect at this point.

On top of that, the OnePlus 15R has been confirmed to be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 , Qualcomm’s new chip. That is the same chip that will fuel the OnePlus Ace 6T. It all adds up.

That chip has actually been jointly developed and optimized by OnePlus and Qualcomm. It uses the same process architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It is inferior to that chip, of course, in several ways, but it’s still one of the best Qualcomm has to offer.

The OnePlus Ace 6T actually managed to reach a score of 3,561,559 on AnTuTu, which proves the prowess of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 . It also managed to achieve 165fps at full frame rate.

The device is coming in three color options, and we already know what they look like

The OnePlus Ace 6T is coming in Flash Black, Phantom Green, and Electric Purple color options. We’re not sure if the same colors will transfer over to the OnePlus 15R, or if the company will use different shades for it.

Speaking of which, the OnePlus 15R is also right around the corner. The phone will become official on December 17 . So, around two weeks after its twin arrives, we’ll get to see the OnePlus 15R.

The OnePlus 13R was a very popular smartphone as it really did offer a lot for the asking price. We’re expecting something similar from the OnePlus 15R, as the specs that surfaced are… great.

Great specs are tipped

In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, the phone is expected to include a 165Hz OLED display, along with a huge 8,000mAh battery. 100W wired charging will also be supported, while Android 16 will come pre-installed with OxygenOS 16.
