The OnePlus 15 is right around the corner, and as we’re waiting for it to become official, some information regarding the OnePlus 15T has just surfaced. This handset will become the company’s next compact smartphone, and some of its specs are already tipped .
The OnePlus 15T will have truly powerful specs, and be compact at the same time
According to Smart Pikachu, a tipster, the OnePlus 15T will feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED display, which will be flat. As a reminder, the current-gen model, the OnePlus 13T, has a 6.32-inch panel.
Furthermore, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor will fuel the phone, while the phone’s frame will be made out of metal. A battery capacity of at least 7,000mAh is also mentioned, though the tipster hints that we can expect the phone’s battery to go beyond that.
Speaking of battery, 100W charging will also be supported. That will be an improvement over the OnePlus 13T as well, as that phone supports 80W charging and has a 6,260mAh battery.
Furthermore, the tipster mentions a ‘ minimalist camera module ’ and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner , too. That’s pretty much everything he revealed, other than the launch timeframe.
The device is tipped to arrive in March or April next year
He claims that the OnePlus 15T will become official in either March or April. That makes sense as the OnePlus 13T launched in April this year. The OnePlus 13T did not make its way to global markets, but we’re hoping the OnePlus 15T will.
The OnePlus 13T launched in China only, while ti was re-released in India as the OnePlus 13s. It did not arrive to the US or Europe, however, unfortunately. It would be a really compelling compact smartphone powerhouse.
As a reminder, the OnePlus 15 is expected to become official at some point this month, in China. The global unit is expected to arrive next month, November 13 is rumored.
