This move would align with earlier Pro models, which aimed to deliver a balanced approach. The base model, on the other hand, was to target performance enthusiasts and gamers.
If the rumor becomes a reality, the consumers will finally have an option to choose between a balanced vs a performance-focused OnePlus flagship. Further, the leaks indicate that the OnePlus 16 will introduce a display with a refresh rate of at least 240Hz. It may also have a 200MP primary camera . At the same time, the rumored OnePlus 16 Pro or Ultra variant is said to be launched in Q4 2026.
