The OnePlus 16 will not arrive anytime soon. The device is expected to launch at some point in Q4 2026, and it may not even arrive to the US . It remains to be seen. Either way, the OnePlus 16 specifications have just surfaced online.
Rather detailed OnePlus 16 specs appeared way… way ahead of its launch event
The information comes from the OnePlus Club, which often shares tidbits related to the company. The source did share a rather detailed expected spec sheet. Take it with a grain of salt, though, as it’s a bit early to have all the details pinned down.
OnePlus’ next flagship is tipped to include a 1.5K OLED display from BOE, the BOE X5. That panel will offer a refresh rate of up to 240Hz . The display will be flat, in case you’re wondering.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor is tipped to fuel the device. The source claims that LPDDR6 RAM will be used, along with UFS 4.1 flash storage. That storage will not be expandable.
A gigantic 9,000mAh battery is expected, along with dual 200MP cameras
A 9,000mAh battery is also tipped, as is 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The phone is said to include dual coaxial speakers and the O916T vibration motor , which would be an improvement compared to the OnePlus 15. An Ultrasonic scanner 2.0 will also be used, and placed under the display.
What about the cameras? Well, the source claims that a new main camera will be deployed, most likely the ISOCELL HP5 sensor, a 200-megapixel camera from Samsung. That same camera sensor is tipped for the periscope telephoto camera, so the phone could end up sporting a dual 200-megapixel camera setup.
OnePlus Club also says that we can expect to get a new ultrawide camera on this phone. The exact sensor or megapixel count was not mentioned, though.
