It seems like OnePlus ’ 9,000mAh smartphone could make its way to global markets after all. The device in question is called the OnePlus Turbo, and it has been talked about quite a bit in the last couple of weeks.

The phone’s specifications surfaced yesterday , and it’s expected to arrive to India. Until now, we did not know if other global markets will get it, but based on information provided by a tipster… yes, it’ll ship to more markets.
The info comes from Abhishek Yadav, as he claims that the OnePlus ‘Volkswagen’ is coming to both Indian and other global markets. That codename belongs to the OnePlus Turbo. We’re still not sure if it will be called ‘Turbo’ in other markets, though, or only in India.
It will have a 9,000mAh battery and support 80W charging
We already know that the device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. It will also include a battery that offers at least 9,000mAh capacity. It could be even slightly bigger than that, actually.
OnePlus will also offer 80W wired charging here. The tipster says that the phone will include two cameras on the back, and a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate is also expected. That display will be flat.
Three color options are expected
The device is said to launch in Black, Green, and Silver colors, in both 12GB and 16GB RAM variants. 256GB and 512GB storage variants will be available as well. We are also expecting Android 16 with OxygenOS 16 on top.
OnePlus did confirm that the ‘Turbo’ line is coming, and the company also said that it will be focused on performance and gaming . Yes, we may get more than one phone, actually. The Turbo V is also rumored. That one will be inferior to the standard model, with the Snapdragon 7 series chip. We’re not sure if that one will make its way to global markets.
