OnePlus has released some more specs of the upcoming Pad Go 2, ahead of next week’s announcement. OnePlus has confirmed that it will be running on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra processor . This is a mid-range chipset, built on a 4nm process. Of course, the Pad Go series has always been more of a mid-range tablet, versus the regular Pad series, so this should come as no surprise.

The company has also announced that it’ll have a 10,050mAh capacity battery inside, with 33W SUPERVOOC charging. Again, a few more cuts here to lower the price of this tablet, as the OnePlus Pad 3 does have 80W charging.

OnePlus says that the battery will last for up to 15 hours of video playback, 53 hours of music playback, or 60 full days of standby. Of course, with that Dimensity 7300 chip inside, that does sound about right.

OnePlus Pad Go 2 sports a 12.1-inch display, and gains Stylo support

The company also provided some details about the display. So it’ll be a 12.1-inch display with 284 pixels per inch. It’ll have pretty decent brightness for a tablet at 900nits of HBM brightness and 98% DCI-P3 color coverage. OnePlus is sticking with its unique 7:5 aspect ratio for the display here, and it does offer an 88.5% screen-to-body ratio. So you’re getting mostly screen here.

Surprisingly, even on a mid-range tablet, OnePlus has Dolby Vision – something that Samsung refuses to put on its $1200 Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.

Finally, OnePlus has announced that there will be a OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo. So for the first time, the Pad Go series gets stylus support. This is not the same stylus that the Pad 3 has, but it is very similar. It will charge via USB-C, and OnePlus says that it can go from 0% to having enough battery for half a day’s writing and drawing in just 10 minutes.

OnePlus will announce the Pad Go 2 and the OnePlus 15R on December 17 . Could it be the latest entry on our Best Tablets list? We’ll have to wait for next week to find out.
