That’s not all, though. OnePlus also gives the device a quick shower to show its excellent ingress protection. The phone will ship with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, just like the OnePlus 15.

In case you’re out of the loop, the OnePlus Turbo 6 is the company’s upcoming phone with a 9,000mAh battery. Despite that huge battery, the phone won’t exactly be thick, not at all.

We exclusively revealed its sibling , the OnePlus Turbo 6V, not long ago, before OnePlus kicked off its teasers. That phone will come with an inferior, Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, while the OnePlus Turbo 6 will include the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor.

It is expected to include a 165Hz display, 9,000mAh battery & 80W charging

The phone will also feature a 1.5K display with a 165Hz refresh rate. 80W wired charging will be supported, and the same goes for 27W reverse wired charging. That’s nice to see, considering the huge capacity of the battery.

A 50-megapixel main camera will be backed by an 8-megapixel camera on the back, we’re guessing an ultrawide one. On the front, you’ll be able to find a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

We’re not sure if the OnePlus Turbo 6 series will make its way to global markets, however. The January 8 launch will take place in China. If it does, there’s a good chance a different name will be used.
