If you take a look at phones a decade ago, you’d be shocked at how much their prices have increased. So, if you’re not looking to sell a kidney to fund your next smartphone purchase, OPPO has got you covered with the global launch of its Reno 15 series .

OPPO Reno 15 and Reno 15F

For those shopping on a slightly smaller budget , we have both the base OPPO Reno 15 and 15F. Starting with the base model, the handset features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. As for the Reno 15F, it opts for a slightly smaller 6.57-inch AMOLED panel with similar specs. Both handsets run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and include in-display fingerprint scanners for secure unlocking.

Under the hood, the Reno 15 packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset with LPDDR5x RAM. Sure, it isn’t as powerful as OPPO’s flagships , but mid-range chipsets these days have gotten a lot better. The phone comes in 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB configurations with UFS 3.1 storage. The Reno 15F, on the other hand, runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor with LPDDR4x RAM. It is available in 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, or 12GB+512GB variants.

On the camera side of things, the Reno 15 includes a triple rear camera setup. There’s a 50MP main sensor with autofocus and optical image stabilization, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The Reno 15F keeps things simple with a 50MP main camera (with OIS), an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro sensor. Both models feature 50MP front cameras.

Battery life is a major highlight. Each phone packs a massive 6,500mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support.

Pricing starts at NTD 17,990 (roughly $575) for the Reno 15’s 12GB+256GB variant. The 12GB+512GB version costs NTD 19,990 (about $640). OPPO hasn’t announced pricing for the Reno 15F yet, but based on its specs, it should be slightly cheaper.

Going Pro and Pro Max

If you’re willing to spend a bit more, the Pro models come with better hardware . The Pro Max model features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Reno 15 Pro offers a slightly smaller 6.32-inch AMOLED panel while keeping the same refresh rate. Both carry IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Under the hood, you can find MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 chipset paired with 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The Pro Max comes in a single 12GB+512GB configuration, while the Pro offers 12GB+256GB.

Camera specs are the same across both the Pro models. This includes a 200MP main sensor with autofocus and OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. It is accompanied by a 50MP front-facing shooter.

As for battery life, there is a difference between the models. The Pro Max includes a 6,500mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The Pro houses a 6,200mAh battery with 80W wired charging.

The Reno 15 Pro Max costs NTD 24,990 (approximately $800) for the 12GB+512GB variant. The Reno 15 Pro runs NTD 20,990 (around $670) for 12GB + 256GB.
