OxygenOS 16 will bring Google Gemini integration to OnePlus’ Mind Space . This was expected, and it’s now also official, as it has been confirmed by OnePlus India. It will be reflected on OxygenOS 16 devices globally .
OnePlus’ Mind Space will get an intelligence boost via Google Gemini with OxygenOS 16
Mind Space, for those of you who are out of the loop, is powered by OnePlus AI. It has the ability to understand and organize your saved content. It automatically adds summaries, keywords, and tags to everything you capture. It can also translate text into your preferred language, and so on.
Needless to say, Google Gemini will bring a new level of usefulness to Mind Space. The OnePlus 15 could become the very first smartphone to offer this feature, as it’s expected to be the first phone to include OxygenOS 16.
The OnePlus 15 is expected to launch by the end of this month in China and next month globally. In China, ColorOS will come pre-installed, so what we’re talking about is only relevant for global units.
Yes, OxygenOS 15 already has Google Gemini access, and the same goes for a range of other Google tools. We are, however, talking about integration with Mind Space here, which will bring a whole new level of integration.
Plus Key and Plus Mind will also be available on the OnePlus 15
The phone will also feature the so-called ‘Plus Key’ or ‘Quick Key’ on the left. That button will replace the alert slider, as it has on the OnePlus 13T and OnePlus 13s. It will offer you a range of possibilities, as it’s a multifunctional button.
There’s also the Plus Mind, OnePlus’ feature that is designed to quickly save, catalog, and recall key information found on the screen. That feature saves content to a dedicated Mind Space.
Other OnePlus smartphones will get the Google Gemini Mind Space integration after the OnePlus 15 , we’re guessing. The OnePlus 13 , OnePlus 13R and OnePlus Open will presumably be first in line.
