Google has a very compelling compact flagship smartphone to offer at the moment. We’ll compare that phone with one of the best devices from OnePlus. In other words, we’ll be comparing the Google Pixel 10 Pro vs OnePlus 13 . The OnePlus 13 is no longer OnePlus’ most powerful smartphone, but it’s not far from it. These two are considerably different phones, but comparing them makes sense. Do note that the OnePlus 13 is the more affordable of the two.

As per usual, we will first list the specifications of both smartphones. Following that, we’ll compare them across a number of categories. Those categories include design, display, performance, battery, cameras, and audio. There’s a lot to talk about here, so let’s get to it and see what these two phones have to offer.

Google Pixel 10 Pro vs OnePlus 13: Design

Both devices have a flat display with a centered display camera hole up top. That camera hole is smaller on the OnePlus 13, visibly smaller. The bezels are thin and uniform on both devices, though they’re thinner on the OnePlus 13. You’ll notice that both phones have rounded corners, though the ones on the Pixel 10 Pro are more rounded in comparison. The frames on both devices are flat, for the most part. They curve a bit towards the edges, for comfort’s sake.

Speaking of the frame, the button layout on the two phones is different. The Pixel 10 Pro has power/lock and volume up and down buttons. The power/lock key is placed above the volume up and down buttons. The OnePlus 13 has a power/lock key below the volume up and down buttons on the right-hand side. In addition to that, you’ll also find an alert slider on the device’s left side.

If we flip the two phones over, you’ll see that they have considerably different back sides. The Pixel 10 Pro’s backplate is made out of glass and is completely flat. The OnePlus 13 is made out of glass or eco leather, depending on which model you get. It also curves a bit towards the edges on all sides. The Pixel 10 Pro has a horizontal camera bar towards the top of its back side. It protrudes quite a bit. The OnePlus 13 has a camera oreo in the top-left corner, which also protrudes, but not as much. The Pixel 10 Pro does not wobble on the table, unlike the OnePlus 13.

OnePlus’ smartphone is considerably larger as it has a larger display. It is only 3-6 grams heavier, though, depending on the model. The Pixel 10 Pro is IP68 certified, while the OnePlus 13 comes with both IP68 and IP69 certifications.

Google Pixel 10 Pro vs OnePlus 13: Display

The Google Pixel 10 Pro features a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display. That panel is flat, and it has a resolution of 2856 x 1280 pixels. A refresh rate on offer here is 120Hz, while HDR10+ content is supported. The peak brightness this display offers is 3,300 nits. The screen-to-body ratio is at around 87%, while the display aspect ratio is 20:9. The Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the Pixel 10 Pro’s panel.

OnePlus 13

The OnePlus 13 , on the flip side, has a 6.82-inch LTPO 4.1 AMOLED display. That panel is also flat, with a curved glass on top. It shows up to 1 billion colors and offers a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and high-frequency PWM dimming. Dolby Vision is supported, as is HDR10+ and HDR Vivid. The peak brightness this display can offer is 4,500 nits, technically. The screen-to-body ratio is at around 91%. Its display is protected by the Ceramic Guard glass.

Both of these displays are great, actually. They are both more than sharp enough, not to mention that they’re vivid and have great viewing angles.

Google Pixel 10 Pro vs OnePlus 13: Performance

The Google Tensor G5 SoC fuels the Pixel 10 Pro. That is Google’s most powerful processor, and the very first Tensor chip made by TSMC. It’s a 3nm processor. It’s backed by 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and either UFS 3.1 or 4.0 storage. UFS 3.1 storage is used in a 128GB storage model only. The OnePlus 13 is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, a 3nm chip, which was Qualcomm’s flagship for last year. It’s backed by up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM (global model) and UFS 4.0 flash storage.

Neither of these two smartphones supports storage expansion, by the way. Both of them do deliver excellent performance day-to-day. They’re very smooth when it comes to opening and closing apps, multitasking, media consumption, browsing, messaging, and everything else you can think of. Processing images and video is also a breeze here, and so on. The OnePlus 13 is technically more powerful, thanks to its chip, but both are very snappy and offer an excellent experience.

When it comes to gaming, the OnePlus 13 is the better choice, even though the Pixel 10 Pro does manage to keep up, to a degree. The OnePlus 13 not only has a more capable processor and GPU for gaming, but it also comes with a bevy of gaming features. It doesn’t really matter if you’re not playing the most demanding games out there, but if you are, the OnePlus 13 is the better choice. Neither phone has issues with overheating or anything like that, as least we didn’t have any.

Google Pixel 10 Pro vs OnePlus 13: Battery

The Google Pixel 10 Pro includes a 4,870mAh battery, while the OnePlus 13 has a 6,000mAh battery on the inside. Yes, the Pixel 10 Pro is the smaller phone, though this difference is still quite big, even considering the size. The OnePlus 13 does use a silicon-carbon battery, which allows OnePlus to include higher battery capacity. In case you’re wondering, yes, the OnePlus 13 offers better battery life.

The Pixel 10 Pro does well in the battery department, no doubt about that, but you’ll get around 20% more screen-on-time on the OnePlus 13, at the very least. In some instances, we were even able to get aorund 30% more screen-on-time with similar usage. Both phones will last through the day for most people, and the OnePlus 13’s battery life will surely please even the most demanding users out there.

What about charging? Well, the OnePlus 13 has the edge in that regard as well. It supports 100W wired (80W in the US), 50W wireless, 10W reverse wireless, and 5W reverse wired charging. The Pixel 10 Pro, on the other hand, supports 30W wired, 15W wireless, and 5W reverse wired charging. Neither phone comes with a charger, unfortunately, at least not in global markets.

Google Pixel 10 Pro vs OnePlus 13: Cameras

Both of these phones have three cameras on the back, but the setups are different, of course. The Pixel 10 Pro features a 50-megapixel main camera (1/1.31-inch sensor size), along with a 48-megapixel unit (1/2.55-inch sensor size, 123-degree FoV), and a 48-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (1/2.55-inch sensor size, 5x optical zoom).

Google Pixel 10 Pro

The OnePlus 13, on the other hand, has a 50-megapixel main camera (1/1.43-inch sensor size). Its ultrawide camera is a 50-megapixel unit with a 1/2.75-inch sensor size and a 120-degree FoV. The last camera on the back is a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto unit with a 1/1.95-inch sensor size and a 3x optical zoom support.

Both of these phones do a great job with photos and videos, though the results are notably different. Neither phone is the best camera phone out there, but they’re very good. The Pixel 10 Pro provides those contrasty Pixel photos that people seem to love so much. The images do have a tendency to look more processed because of it. The OnePlus 13 has outstanding colors, and while it does provide contrasty photos as well, they do look less processed. Most of the time we actually preferred images from the OnePlus 13, though both phones did a great job.

Audio

When it comes to speakers, both devices are equipped with stereo setups. The speakers on the OnePlus 13 are a bit louder in comparison, but not by much. The audio output quality is excellent on both ends.

There is no audio jack on either phone. You can connect your wired headphones via the Type-C port on both devices, though. The Pixel 10 Pro supports Bluetooth 6, while the OnePlus 13 has Bluetooth 5.4 support.
