The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G is now official. This is the company’s budget offering, which is expected to be one of the company’s best-selling phones in 2026. The device appeared on Samsung Thailand’s website , and confirmed everything we need to know.
As you can see in the provided images, the device has a flat display, a flat backplate, and even its frame is flat all around. Both its power/lock and volume rocker buttons are placed on the right-hand side.

Those buttons are once again protruding a bit on the right, as the frame itself protrudes on that side. Samsung calls this ‘Key Island 2.0’. Speaking of which, the phone’s fingerprint scanner is built into the power/lock key.
There are two vertically-aligned cameras on the back, in the top-left corner. They do protrude a little bit. An LED flash sits right next to them. On the display, you’ll notice a small notch, instead of a camera hole.
Yes, this phone does have a “chin” at the bottom, its bezels are not uniform. That was to be expected, considering that this is a budget phone, of course. It comes in Black and Violet Light colors, both of which you can see below.

What about the specs? Well, let’s talk about that software support I mentioned earlier. The phone ships with Android 16 out of the box, with One UI 8.0 on board. Samsung promised 6 years of Android OS and security updates for the device. That’s outstanding considering the budget nature of the device.
Both 4GB and 6GB RAM variants of the device are listed on Samsung’s website, both of which come with 128GB of storage. You can also expand its storage via a microSD card slot. The processor is not listed by name, but it’s the MediaTek Dimensity 6300.

The phone also includes a 6.7-inch HD+ (1600 x 720) PLS LCD display. A 6,000mAh battery is included in the phone, while the device is IP54 certified for water and dust resistance.
A 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8) is backed by a 2-megapixel depth camera (f/2.4 aperture) on the back. An 8-megapixel camera sits on the front. The Galaxy A07 5G measures 167.4 x 77.4 x 8.2mm, while it weighs 199 grams.
The price tag of the phone is still a mystery, and it may differ from one market to the other.
