Samsung Galaxy S25 FE specs
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is fueled by the Exynos 2400 processor from Samsung . That is a 4nm chip, and it’s not the latest offering from the company. That chip was announced in 2023, and it’s quite a bit behind the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy that Samsung uses in its flagships. This chip is backed by 8GB of RAM, and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage, depending on what you need. Do note that not all of those storage variants are available in all markets.
On the front, there is a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. That panel is flat, and it offers an adaptive refresh rate (60-120Hz). Vision Booster is also a part of the package. The phone also includes a 4,900mAh battery, while it supports 45W wired charging. On top of that, 15W wireless charging is also supported. Wireless PowerShare aka reverse wireless charging is also possible. A charger does not come in the retail box, however.
There are three cameras included on the back of the phone. A 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8 aperture, 84-degree FoV) is backed by a 12-megapixel ultrawide snapper (f/2.2 aperture, 123-degree FoV). The third camera on the back is an 8-megapixel telephoto unit (f/2.4 aperture, 32-degree FoV, 3x optical zoom, OIS). There is a 12-megapixel camera (f/2.2 aperture, 80-degree FoV) included on the front of the phone.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. Bluetooth 5.4 is supported here too, and the same goes for Wi-Fi 6E. The Galaxy S25 FE comes in four colors: Icyblue, Jetblack, Navy, and White. Android 16 comes pre-installed, along with One UI 8.0. The device measures 161.3 x 76.6 x 7.4mm, while it weighs 190 grams.

What carriers does it work on?
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE does have a wide carrier compatibility, it’s even on sale by all the major US carriers and their MVNOs. What new upgrades does the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE have over the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE?
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE does look a lot like its predecessor. In fact, many people would probably not even be able to tell the difference between the two phones. Those with a keen eye will notice larger camera lenses on the back of the Galaxy S25 FE. What advantages does the phone itself bring, however? Well, let’s see, we’ll list some of its features below, including some improvements over the Galaxy S24 FE. They have a lot of spec similarities, though, a lot.
Smaller and lighter without a display size sacrifice
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is both smaller and lighter than the Galaxy S24 FE, while it does not include a smaller display. That is because it has slightly thinner bezels than its predecessor, all around. The phone is slightly shorter, narrower, and thinner than the Galaxy S24 FE. It’s also considerably lighter at 190 grams, compared with 213 grams.
Battery boost
The Galaxy S25 FE does come with a larger battery than its predecessor. It includes a 4,900mAh battery, compared to a 4,700mAh unit in the Galaxy S24 FE. Granted, that’s not a huge boost over the predecessor, but it’s an improvement nonetheless, so it’s worth noting. It remains to be seen how beneficial will it be.
Faster charging
While the wireless charging remains unchanged compared to the Galaxy S25 FE, it’s still 15W, the wired charging did get a boost on this phone. The Galaxy S25 FE supports 45W wired charging, presuming you have a compatible charger, as the phone doesn’t ship with one. Reverse wireless charging is still here, but it’s still at around 5W.
Latest and greatest Android OS
Samsung pre-installed Android 16 on this smartphone. That means that the device also comes with One UI 8.0 out of the box. The Galaxy S24 FE, as a reminder, shipped with Android 14 out of the box, but Android 16 is on the way to the phone. It is coming in the near future, along with One UI 8.0.
Excellent software support (promise)
Along with including Android 16 with One UI 8.0 on the Galaxy S25 FE, Samsung made a major update promise here. The company said that it will support the phone for 7 years. Not only that, Samsung promised that the Galaxy S25 FE will get 7 years’ worth of major Android upgrades, along with security updates.
A lot of similarities with its predecessor
The display remains unchanged on the Galaxy S25 FE, as do all of its rear-facing cameras. The chip is not much different either (Exynos 2400 vs Exynos 2400e), while the same goes for RAM and storage options. As already mentioned, they are very similar, both inside and out.
What cases are available for the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE?
Along with the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, the company also announced some official accessories. Three cases and a screen protector have been announced thus far, and we’ll talk about all of them below, separately.
Silicone Case
The Silicone Case is the cheapest case Samsung announced for the device. It usually costs $34.99, but Samsung is running a launch promotion at $24.49. The price will change on September 16. This is your regular soft silicone case for the device. It offers good protection and feels good in the hand. It’s available in five colors: Black, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Mint, and White.
Standing Grip Case
The Standing Grip Case is the one that includes a pop-out kickstand on the back. That kickstand also doubles as an extra layer of security when you’re holding the device. This case comes in Black, Dark Blue, Light Blue, and White colors, and it’s priced at $38.49. Its regular price tag is $54.99, though you can buy it for a discount until September 16.

Kindsuit Case
Samsung is also offering a Kindsuit Case for the phone. That’s another case Samsung users are familiar with. This case is made up of 23% plastic, half of which comes from post-consumer materials, it’s recycled. The case is lined up with durable micro twill to give that soft feel. This case now costs $45.49, while its regular price is $64.99. IT comes in Black, Dark Blue, and Tan colors.

Anti-reflecting film
The last accessory on the list is the screen protector, or as Samsung calls this one the ‘Anti-reflecting film’. It costs $17.49 now, but its regular price tag is $24.99. This screen protector is supposed to help fight glare/reflections, and is also protecting against dust and fingerprint smudges.

Should I buy the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE?
While the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is a very compelling offering, it has plenty of competition in the market. Even in Samsung’s lineup, there’s the Galaxy S25, which is a bit more expensive, but we’d argue is a better choice. Then there the OnePlus 13R, which is more affordable, and a number of other options. It’s a very competitive market in that price range. The Galaxy S25 FE does seem like a compelling phone on paper, however, but we’d recommend waiting for reviews.
