A new certification listing has leaked the battery capacity of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26+. The launch date and some key specifications of the Galaxy A37 5G and A57 5G have also surfaced. The Korean tech giant is expected to launch both its flagship and mid-range devices around the same time. The TUV certification has revealed the model number, battery, and charging details of the upcoming devices.
Certification website leaks the battery and charging capacity of Samsung Galaxy S26+
The most important part of the leak is the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26+. It has been identified with the model number SM-S947. This particular model number was once believed to be the Galaxy S26 Edge. Though it is now widely associated with Galaxy S26+. Some sources have reported that Samsung might have dropped the plan to launch its next slim and lightweight smartphone due to mixed feedback. It rather chooses to continue with the simpler trio of Galaxy S26 , Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The tipster Anivin had earlier reported that the model numbers SM-S947B and SM-S947B/DS were listed on India’s BIS certification website. This further backs the Galaxy S26+ theory. Moreover, the TUV website confirms that it will pack a 4,755mAh battery with 45W wired charging support. It’s confusing to think why Samsung decided to opt for a low battery size, especially in an era when other flagships are offering as much as a 7,000mAh battery.
Galaxy A37 5G and Galaxy A57 5G tipped to launch in Q1 2026
The TUV listing confirms that Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy A37 5G and A57 5G alongside its next flagship model. The Galaxy A37 5G is listed with multiple model numbers, covering India, international markets, the United States, and the Chinese region. The device will pack a 4.905mAh battery with 45W fast wired charging support.
The Galaxy A57 5G , on the other hand, is listed on TUV with model numbers spanning Asia, North America, South Korea, Japan, and China. The battery capacity of the phone remains unknown, though it is also confirmed to feature the same 45W wired charging. The Geekbench listing of the device confirmed an Exynos 1680 processor with an Xclipse 550 GPU. It will run on Android 16 software and will feature up to 12GB of RAM. Last but not least, tipster Abhishek Yadav suggests the Galaxy A37 5G and Galaxy A57 5G may launch in early February 2026 . It will follow the Galaxy S26 series toward the end of the month.
