Galaxy Unpacked is rumored to take place on February 25

This year, Samsung is rumored to be launching the Galaxy S26 at its Unpacked event on February 25, just a week before Mobile World Congress. This is when Samsung used to announce its new flagships, until a few years ago, when they pushed it up to January. It’s unclear why the been pushback this year; it could be due to the effects of the US Government shutdown in October (which really screwed up the OnePlus 15 launch) or something else.

It’s rumored that the event will take place in San Francisco this year. So, a change of scenery for Samsung this year, as in the past few years, Samsung has held Unpacked in San Jose, down in the Bay Area.

Next month, and into March, we are set to see a ton of new devices launch. With the Galaxy S26 ahead of MWC, and then quite a few new devices announced during MWC from companies like Huawei , HONOR , Xiaomi , and more.
