The final episode of Stranger Things went live on Netflix on New Year’s Eve, effectively winding up the popular series that first released back in June 2016. The series has fans hooked through all five seasons. You can imagine the craze by the fact that fans are still hoping for an end, with wild theories going around online. Well, it seems Samsung is looking to cash in on that craze by partnering with Netflix to promote its Galaxy Store by offering free Stranger Things-themed wallpapers and themes .
Samsung and Netflix partner to offer free Stranger Things themes and wallpapers
While the craze around the series has settled down a bit, Netflix is looking to reignite it with freebies. Samsung and Netflix, in a joint announcement , added that the Stranger Things wallpapers and themes are available via the Samsung Galaxy Store app . Do note that the theme pack is available for free “to those who download or launch the Netflix app.”
More importantly, there is a limited window to grab the free Stranger Things themes and wallpapers. So you need to act fast. The download period started yesterday, January 12, and runs through February 22, 2026. This isn’t the first time Samsung has worked with Netflix to bring exclusive themes and wallpapers to the Galaxy Store. But if you are a longtime fan of Stranger Things’ cast, Samsung has offered the best chance to celebrate them.
From the image added at the end, you can get an idea of what to expect. There appear to be at least five wallpapers in total, with different themes in each. Don’t forget that some of the themes look simple, featuring other characters from the series.
There are a few things to consider
Samsung adds that the special Stranger Things theme package is available for download on Galaxy smartphones running Android versions 15-16. However, the company warns that these themes “may not be supported on certain models.” Meanwhile, wallpapers are available for download on Galaxy smartphones running Android version 8 or later.
