Samsung has been steadily integrating AI across its products and services. It started with Galaxy AI before eventually expanding to home appliances and TVs. But it looks like the company isn’t stopping there. During the Samsung 2026 New Year’s Address , the company revealed its plan to integrate AI across all of its devices in 2026.
Samsung wants to integrate AI into all devices in 2026
So, does Samsung plan to shove AI down our throats across its devices in 2026? Hopefully not, and that’s not the direction the company wants to take either. According to Samsung’s CEO of consumer devices, TM Roh, he says the company needs to organically integrate AI into all devices and services. The goal is to provide customers with the best possible experience.
Samsung also believes that AI isn’t just a mere tool. Instead, they view it as a process that could change the way people work and think. Roh is also encouraging Samsung Device eXperience employees to take advantage of AI to transform their mindsets. But will Samsung be able to pull it off? Perhaps they can.
According to Young Hyun Jun, Samsung’s head of Device Solutions, they can. This is because he says that Samsung is the only company in the world that offers a one-stop solution. This includes advanced chip packaging, chip foundry, logic chips, and memory chips.
Is that too much AI?
That being said, we have to wonder if Samsung’s plan will pay off . We get that AI is the buzzword of the season, and will continue to be for the foreseeable future. However, too many companies get caught up in the AI marketing hype and are slapping AI labels across anything that’s remotely smart.
In fact, it wasn’t too long ago that a viral thread on Reddit revealed that there are many Pixel owners out there who feel that AI is ruining the Pixel experience. Sure, AI can be useful for many things, but shoving it down our throats might not be the way to go. Will Samsung be able to deliver what it promises in a way that’s organic? We guess we’ll have to wait and see.
