Samsung has announced the Galaxy Book6 Series of ultrabook laptops at CES 2026 , promising highly advanced AI features, notable performance upgrades, and a newly revised, slimmer design that makes the Galaxy Book laptop more portable than ever.

Sporting the latest available components from Intel and NVIDIA , the Galaxy Book6 series is designed to deliver Samsung’s ” most advanced PC performance yet,” the company says. Specifications will vary based on the model, with the most powerful options being made available to the Galaxy Book6 Ultra only. Samsung is also releasing a Galaxy Book6 and a Galaxy Book6 Pro. Both of these models will also come in 14-inch and 16-inch variations, while the Galaxy Book6 Ultra will only come in a 16-inch model.

Samsung paid special attention to the battery life with this series, noting that the Galaxy Book6 Ultra will charge up to 63% in just 30 minutes. These laptops also feature heavy integration with Galaxy AI , allowing users to search for things by simply describing the content they’re looking for. Other AI features include Note Assist, AI Select, Multi Control & Second Screen, and Storage Share & Link to Windows/Phone Link.

Samsung hasn’t announced any pricing details about these laptops yet. However, it does confirm that the Galaxy Book6 Series will launch in Spring 2026. All three laptops will be available in Gray. It’s also possible to reserve your Galaxy Book6 series laptop starting now, and those who do so will get a $30 Samsung credit.

The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Ultra is the only one in the series that can come with an NVIDIA GPU

While the entire series boasts some impressive specs, it’s the Galaxy Book6 Ultra that power users are going to want to keep their eye on. It’s the only model in the series that has the option of coming with an NVIDIA GPU. Specifically, it can come with the RTX 5060 Laptop GPU. The alternative is Intel Arc Graphics, which isn’t bad, but it doesn’t benefit from NVIDIA’s advanced DLSS 4 features like 4x frame generation. That’s important if you plan to play any games on this thing.

The other two laptops use Intel Graphics instead of Intel Arc. As for the CPU, the Galaxy Book6 Ultra comes with an Intel Core Ultra X7/ 7 Series 3 (Intel Evo Edition), which can change depending on the market, Samsung says. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Book6 Pro comes with the Intel Core Ultra 7 (Intel Evo Edition), and the Galaxy Book6 comes with either the Intel Core Ultra 7 or Intel Core Ultra 5.

Storage and RAM will vary by model as well. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra comes with the most at 32GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage on the SSD. The Galaxy Book6 Pro will have the option for 16GB or 32GB of RAM, and the option for either 512GB or 1TB for the storage. Lastly, the Galaxy Book6 will only have 16GB of RAM, but it will have the same options for storage as the Pro model.

Bright, vivid displays for

As for the display tech, they vary on each model as well. All three models have an AMOLED touchpanel, but resolution varies. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Galaxy Book6 Pro will have a WQXGA+ resolution (2,880 x 1,800). Samsung calls this the Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, which features an HDR peak brightness of 1,000 nits and an SDR peak brightness of 500 nits. The Galaxy Book6 is a bit different. It’s still an AMOLED touch display, but the resolution is lower at WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200). The 14-inch model will also be IPS Anti-Glare, while the 16-inch can be either IPS Anti-Glare or IPS touch, giving users an option. The refresh rate on the Ultra and Pro models will be up to 120Hz.

Better, more efficient cooling thanks to the vapor chamber

One very major change this year is the introduction of the vapor chamber to the Galaxy Book6 Pro. Samsung has never added a vapor chamber to its Pro models before this year, so this is a big step up in helping with performance. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra will also have the vapor chamber, just like last year’s Ultra model, but Samsung has redesigned it to fit a larger surface area, which it says results in more even heat distribution. This is probably quite important if you’re going for the NVIDIA RTX 5060 model.
