The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 was announced on July 9 in New York City, with pre-orders having opened that same day. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 release date is officially July 25, though it could also ship before then, as we’ve seen in the past with Samsung.
Perhaps the biggest update ever for the Galaxy Z Fold series. Making the device much, much thinner than before. The front display is also significantly wider, and we’re looking at a much upgraded primary camera. Now the Galaxy Z Fold 7 measures in at just 4.2mm when unfolded and 8.9mm when folded. That brings it up to the same thickness as the OPPO Find N5, which was the world’s thinnest foldable, before HONOR beat it out with the Magic V5, just barely.
Internally, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 does sport a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, 12GB of RAM with 256GB or 512GB of storage. There is a 1TB storage model that also comes with more RAM, at 16GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 colors include Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, and Jet Black. There’s a fourth color in Mint, however, that is exclusive to Samsung’s website .
