T-Mobile hasn’t exactly been ingratiating itself to its customers in the past few months. From forcing its T-Life app down the throats of customers and employees, to reneging on its promises to customers, and a disastrous Wingstop promo. But now, the carrier is trying to redeem itself. T-Mobile has announced the return of its Friday Night 5G Lights, and in the press release, there are a couple of freebies you can claim as part of the T-Mobile Tuesdays event.

Hidden freebies for T-Mobile Tuesday

According to T-Mobile , there are two giveaways happening as part of its Friday Night 5G Lights. There is one taking place on the 29th of July where customers can get a Friday Night 5G Lights water bottle. Then, on the 26th of August, there is another giveaway where customers can nab a free stadium bag.

We know these aren’t exactly must-haves. Granted, T-Mobile has given away more enticing freebies as part of T-Mobile Tuesday. We’re talking about free pizza and Wingstop combos for $0.01 . But hey, if you want a water bottle or a bag, why not? It is free after all.

T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights returns

That being said, going back to the focus of the actual event, T-Mobile is offering prizes of up to $4 million in a high school football competition . Based on the breakdown of prizes, 450 schools will win $5,000 through weekly $5K Fridays giveaways. 25 finalists will also get $25,000 each for their football programs. T-Mobile employees also get to vote for a “Fan Favorite” who will get an additional $25,000.

Last but not least, there will be a grand prize winner who will receive $1 million, which goes towards a football field upgrade. This includes a renovated weight room from Gronk Fitness, a consultation with stadium experience experts, and an all-expense-paid trip to the SEC Championship Game for select school officials and students. There will also be a tailgate party that will reveal the upgrades in 2026.

That being said, take note that only schools in a town with fewer than 150,000 people can participate. So, those located in larger cities will have to sit this one out.
