Another compact smartphone is coming , and this one will be extremely powerful. Based on the information shared by Digital Chat Station, one of the most prominent tipsters out there, OPPO is preparing a flagship compact phone with a top-tier chip and a huge battery.
The OPPO Find X9s will be a compact phone fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip
The phone in question is the OPPO Find X9s, for which he did share some details . The tipster says that the device will include a 6.3-inch display. That seems to be the standard for compact flagship phones these days. That display will offer a 1.5K resolution. We’re guessing it will be a 120Hz panel, at the very least, but that information was not shared.
Furthermore, the phone will be fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. That is the company’s most powerful chip, and it is a direct competitor to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It has proven itself already in the OPPO Find X9 Pro and Vivo X300 Pro .
A huge 7,000mAh battery will also be a part of the package
What else? Well, a 7,000mAh battery will sit inside this handset. That is outstanding. Even if this weren’t a compact phone, that battery capacity would be great. For comparison’s sake, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is a lot larger phone, includes a 5,000mAh battery. This will be a silicon-carbon battery, of course.
The phone will also support very fast charging, though the details haven’t been shared. What the tipster did share is the fact that this phone will be both IP68 and IP69 certified. In other words, it will have great ingress protection.
On top of all that, the OPPO Find X9s will include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, as expected. We are not sure when this device will become official, but its predecessor arrived back in April.
We’re not sure if it will launch in markets outside of China
We’re not sure if OPPO plans to wait until April 2026, but it’s possible. Do note that the Find X8s was not a global smartphone, so we’re not sure what to expect from its successor. We do hope it will be released in global markets like its siblings.
