It seems like Motorola is making a phone for the upcoming World Cup 2026 in football (soccer for those of you living in the US). That World Cup will be hosted by the US, Canada, and Mexico in mid-2026.

Motorola seemingly made a special Razr 50 edition for World Cup 2026

With that being said, the phone in question seems to be the Motorola Razr 50 (also known as the Razr 2025). Yes, the regular version, not the ‘Ultra’ model . Motorola has seemingly made a custom Razr 50 to be the official phone of the tournament. You can see it below.

That image has been shared by Evan Blass , by the way, so it has plenty of credibility. You can see that the back side is made out of two shades of green, plus a shade of blue. On top of that, Motorola’s logo combines light blue and pale orange colors.

Below the company’s logo, you’ll see a FIFA logo, which is a dead giveaway what we’re looking at here. FIFA stands for Fédération Internationale de Football Association. In other words, that’s the organizer of the World Cup.

We’re expecting the same specs on the inside

We don’t expect this phone to be any different than the regular Motorola Razr 50 on the inside. It will only have a different paint job, it seems. Its backplate is still made out of eco leather, it would seem.

As a reminder, the Motorola Razr 50 is kind of considered a budget foldable phone. It comes with two OLED displays and the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor. It also incorporates up to 12GB of RAM and is IPX8 certified for water resistance.

A 50-megapixel main camera sits ont he back, along with a 13-megapixel ultrawide unit. A side-facing fingerprint scanner is also included, along with a 4,200mAh battery. 30W wired charging is on offer, along with 15W wireless charging.
