In 2024, the AI wars were on. Companies were rushing to stuff as many AI features in their phones as possible. But in the later part of 2025, that seemed to die down a bit. Now, we’re in the battery wars, where companies are introducing phones with batteries bigger than ever . Now, according to a leak, Realme is working on a new phone that packs a 10001mAh battery.
Realme has a phone with a 10001mAh battery in the works
A recent report from the Russian website MT Today shows an image of an upcoming Realme phone that appears to be packing a 10001mAh battery under the hood. The screenshot shows the phone’s battery size and how it is packing 12GB of RAM, but other than that, not much else is known.

The publication speculates that due to the amount of RAM, there’s a good chance the device could be a flagship phone. We’re not sure when Realme plans on announcing the handset, but seeing as the image of the phone leaked, chances are we could be seeing an announcement soon.
Hot on the heels of HONOR
That being said, Realme’s timing is interesting. Just a few months ago, we saw Chinese OEMs launch phones with 7,000-8,000mAh battery. However, recently, HONOR trumped everyone by announcing the HONOR Win. This is the first smartphone with a whopping 10,000mAh battery .
HONOR is not alone either. According to the latest rumors, Xiaomi will also introduce a smartphone in 2026 with a 10,000mAh battery. It’s possible this is a phone within the Redmi Turbo series. However, there’s still no official confirmation.
Returning to Realme, the company is rumored to be testing out a 20,000mAh dual-stacked silicon-carbon battery , but we’re not sure when that is expected to hit the market. Let’s hope more info on this emerges soon.
