Ulefone has just announced a new phone, the Armor 29 Pro . This is yet another rugged smartphone from the company, which includes a huge battery as well. It’s technically a mid-ranger, but its specs are nothing to scoff at.
The Ulefone Armor 29 Pro series comes in two variants
The device actually comes in non-thermal and thermal variants. Their names are the Ulefone Armor 29 Pro and Armor 29 Pro Thermal Version . The only difference between them is the fact the Thermal Version has thermal imaging hardware on the back.
Its thermal camera can provide content in a 640 x 512 resolution, which is not half bad. We’re also looking at recording at 25Hz, and it also has an enhanced AI algorithm, says Ulefone.
Both phones include a huge 21,200mAh battery on the inside, and two AMOLED displays. The main display is a 6.67-inch panel, while the second is a 1.04-inch AMOLED panel, that one sits on the back.
A rather interesting camera system is also included
MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 processor fuels both phones. A 50-megapixel main camera (1/1.31-inch sensor size) is backed by a 64-megapixel night vision camera. The third camera on the back is a 50-megapixel ultrawide unit.
The Armor 29 Pro series phones also feature a 1000-lumen LED light on the back, with a warning beacon. The Ulefone Armor 29 Pro is IP68/IP69K rated and also MIL-STD-810H certified. It has all the certifications to be a proper rugged phone.
Ulefone says that both phones will be available to purchase in mid-September. We still don’t know their price tags. However, the company did launch an introduction video for the devices, which you can check out below.
Chances are that Ulefone will announce the pricing for both phones in the near future. The company usually does that before the devices go on sale. There’s also a good chance that both phones will be cheaper at launch.
