Vivo is gearing up for its next major milestone, as a recent leak has tipped the launch timeline of the Vivo X300 Ultra device. The imaging flagship is rumored to debut in March 2026 in China. What’s even more interesting is that the company might finally bring its top-of-the-line device to the global market.

New leak claims Vivo X300 Ultra’s launch timeline

Popular tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the Vivo X300 Ultra is scheduled to debut in China in March next year. The company plans an early release compared to last year’s schedule. However, the source adds that the timeline is still “tentative.” But regardless, it will launch at a similar timeline.

As for the specifications, it’s going to carry the most powerful camera hardware on any Vivo device yet. To begin with, it will have a triple rear camera setup with a 200-megapixel Sony IMX09E primary lens, a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 ultrawide, and a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB periscope telephoto. On the front, it will likely have a 50-megapixel selfie snapper with autofocus support.

Vivo might launch its Ultra for the first time globally

Now coming down to the most exciting part, the Vivo X300 Ultra may become the company’s first Ultra-branded flagship to reach markets outside China. This will mark an important milestone for the company’s international business. Further, the device was recently spotted on the IMEI database with model number V2562, hinting at its overseas release. We can expect the global launch to take place in the second quarter of 2026.

Talking more about its hardware, the flagship is expected to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile chipset. It will become the only device in the X300 series to feature a Snapdragon chipset. Other models in the same series use a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 series chip. Moreover, it will pack a large 6.8-inch OLED panel with 2K pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Details about its charging and battery capacity remains unknown.
