XGIMI has just announced the Titan Noir Max series projector at CES 2026 , and if you’re looking for a projector that transforms color, contrast, and other aspects of visual fidelity into part of the narrative of whatever you’re watching, then this is a projector you probably want to keep your eye on. XGIMI is no stranger to the projector market, having revealed some pretty interesting devices in the past few years.

For instance, at CES 2024, XGIMI unveiled a new projector that was built into a ceiling lamp . This is the kind of ingenuity and versatility that catches the eye and draws attention. At a glance, it’s just a ceiling lamp, but if you look closer, and certainly while in use, you can spot the projector sensors. XGIMI also unveiled a pretty neat projector concept at CES 2025 called the Ascend . This year, the Titan Noir Max is the star of the show, and it’s a star you’re going to want to get to know. It’s not the only projector at the event, however. AWOL Vision, another big brand in the space, announced its most advanced projectors this year.

The XGIMI Titan Noir Max makes contrast part of the narrative

XGIMI is making some pretty bold claims here, but they’re claims that promise to delight your senses if they hold true. The Titan Noir Max isn’t just any old projector. It’s a projector that takes contrast and colors and brings them into the fold in such a way that they become part of the narrative of whatever you’re watching. “Every frame becomes an invitation to look closer,” XGIMI says, noting that details in fidelity, along with the exceptional contrast output of the projector, allow things like individual drops of rain to catch neon lights on a midnight street.

According to XGIM I, this portrayal of contrast is what takes the contrast and weaves it into the story. By showing the viewer why whatever is in the current frame matters. All of this comes together as part of the Projector’s new Dynamic IRIS System, which XGIMI says “brings stories to life.”

XGIMI doesn’t really share any specifications about the projector, but it does state that the Dynamic IRIS System in the Titan Noir Max boosts the native contrast to a 10,000:1 ratio, which “reshapes how every scene feels.” The company also doesn’t share pricing or availability dates. Those will come later this year.
