It wasn’t too long ago that Xiaomi officially announced the Xiaomi 17 series . However, the company isn’t done quite yet. If you have been following the rumors, there is still one more model left: the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Now, thanks to a teaser image , we might have a launch timeframe for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra launch timeframe revealed
According to the teaser image, shared on X by Abhishek Yadav, the company has confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra launch timeframe is next week. The company stopped short of saying when exactly it will launch, but recent rumors suggest that it could take place on December 26, 2025.

The teaser image also confirms Xiaomi’s ongoing partnership with Leica for the cameras of the phone. In fact, the launch date makes sense. More recently, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra has received its FCC certification . This means that it is now one step closer to launch since FCC clearance is required if companies want to sell their products in the US.
Either way, we should have more details about the phone next week.
What can we expect?
So far, the rumors are claiming that in terms of performance, we can expect similar performance as the other models. This is because the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will most likely use the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. However, the cameras are one of the phone’s differentiating factors.
Last we heard, the Ultra model could pack a quad camera setup on the back . This will apparently consist of a trio of 50MP sensors followed by a 200MP sensor for the primary camera. There are rumors that claim that the phone could launch in two versions. While the cameras are the same, one version could feature new innovative camera smarts, while the other will be more “regular.”
Also, instead of the rear display, which is admittedly kind of a novelty, the Ultra will ditch that feature in favor of better cameras. There’s no word on pricing just yet. But if Xiaomi keeps to the pricing of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, we’re looking at prices around the $900-$1,000 range.
