Today, XREAL is launching REAL 3D on the XREAL One and One Pro, which had already been available on the 1S that was launched during CES. And to celebrate this launch, XREAL is also discounting these models.

  • XREAL One – $449 (reg. $579)
  • XREAL One Pro – $599 (reg. $769)
  • XREAL 1S – $449 (reg. $549)

Honestly, if you were looking at the XREAL One or 1S, I’d say you should go for the 1S, especially given the fact that they are the same price. XREAL made a lot of improvements to the 1S. Larger screen, higher refresh rate, higher resolution, among other things, while also dropping the price.

I just got my first pair of XREAL glasses at CES earlier this month, the XREAL 1S, and just got my prescription lenses for them. Now it’s hard to put them down. They’ve been great at everything, and what I love most about them is the fact that I can just plug them into whatever, not deal with any software or apps, just screen mirroring essentially.

Seeing content in 3D on the XREAL glasses is also a game changer. And honestly, it’s impressive that these are only $449.

How to update your XREAL glasses

If you already own a pair of these supported glasses, the OTA update is available today. Here’s how you can update them:

  1. Go to xreal.com/ota
  2. Then connect your XREAL One Series Glasses to your computer via USB.
  3. Now, follow the on-screen instructions to update.

What is REAL 3D?

XREAL’s new REAL 3D feature is a firmware-based technology that uses the onboard X1 spatial computing chip in the XREAL One series to instantly convert 2D content into 3D without any extra apps or hardware.

This will turn movies, games, and even browsing into 3D. Which makes for a pretty epic viewing experience.

Double-tap the red Mode button to open the Menu, select 3D in Spatial Screen to enable REAL 3D, and then everything will be transformed into 3D in front of your eyes. If you feel uncomfortable or it’s not strong enough, you can adjust it in the menu as well.
